Last night GameSpy had a huge maintenance outage as they moved data centers. This involved taking down all of the GameSpy services for every single GameSpy game and then bringing them all back up on new servers at the new data center. Just about everything has been moved successfully, with a few minor issues. The weapon unlocks is one of these issues. GameSpy engineers are aware of the issue and are working on it. I'll update you when more information is available.
Also, if you are having any other issues with the game feel free to post them below to try and consolidate all current issues in one location. There's another thread that started last night when the maintenance began, but there's bound to be a lot of stale information (most issues should've been resolved already) in that thread so it would be nice to group everything in a new thread to focus on the current issues.
